This trial is investigating the therapeutic effect of the patient's own bone marrow stem cells in the treatment of chronic heart failure. The trial is being conducted at the 105th PLA Hospital in Anhui Province and aims to enrol 100 subjects with significant heart failure. The participants will be given an intravenous (IV) infusion of stem cells that have been previously harvested from their own bone marrow and expanded in the laboratory. Changes in cardiac function will be monitored by using standard tests. The study commenced in July 2012. No end date has been provided.
