This trial seeks to investigate whether the patient's own bone marrow stem cells injected directly into the pancreas can assist those with type 2 diabetes. The trial will compare whether those participants receiving the stem cells and conventional treatment, respond differently to those who only receive conventional treatment. The trial is being conducted at the 452 PLA Hospital in China's Sichuan Province and aims to recruit a total of 60 subjects. Participants will be accessed for changes in blood and urine glucose regulation and the trial is expected to run until December 2015.
