This trial is seeking to determine if blood stem cells can assist children with a very aggressive brain tumour known as neuroblastoma. In the study, blood stem cells will be collected from the patients (following G-SCF administration) and then transplanted after the patient has received high-dose chemotherapy. The patients will also receive radiotherapy and additional chemotherapy as required. The patient will be monitored to see if the transplant was successful. This trial is being conducted by the Masonic Cancer Centre in Minneapolis in the US and is expected to enrol 20 patients by February 2018.
