This trial aims to evaluate the effects of the patient's own bone marrow stem cells were injected in spinal cord injury. The trial is being conducted at the Clinica las Condes in Chile and seeks to enrol 30 participants by January 2014. Participants will receive mesenchymal stem cells obtained from the patient's bone marrow and expanded in the laboratory. From the listing in the registry, it is unclear how the cells will be delivered to the patient. Safety of the procedure is cited as the primary outcome and functional improvement in muscle and sphincter control as the secondary outcome.
