This trial is designed to evaluate the use of the patient’s own blood stem cells for the treatment of motor neurone disease. The trial is being conducted by the Royan Institute in Tehran and expects to enrol 10 subjects by December 2013. Participants will receive mesenchymal stem cell from their own bone marrow injected directly into their brain (intraventricular injection). Participants will be monitored for complications, as well as changes in their clinical condition.
