Holly completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Queensland. She completed her honours year in the Cardiac Regeneration Laboratory co-headed by A/Prof Enzo Porrello and Dr James Hudson within the School of Biomedical Sciences at UQ. She is currently a PhD student in the Organoids Research Laboratory based at QIMR Berghofer in Brisbane. Holly uses human cardiac organoids as a model for studying heart attack. She is interested in the roles different cell types play in regulating the formation of new heart tissue after injury.
