Nona Farbehi is a PhD student at Graduate School of Biomedical Engineering, University of New South Wales. She completed her Bachelor of Science as an honour student at Research and Science University in Tehran, Iran in 2009 majoring Biomedical Engineering and her thesis was about Registration of medical images by Atlas in image segmentation. She then pursued her education towards MSc at Amir kabir University of Technology in the Department of biomedical Engineering and tried to specify relation between Risk Factors and new technologies in Tehran’s hospitals. She was awarded Master of Science in 2011.

Her PhD work involves studying of Adult Cardiac CFU-F Differentiation Pedigrees by Single Cell Analysis. She is also developing a novel microfluidics device including a micro-nozzle for studying single cells as part of her PhD.
