Walaa Alsanie is a PhD student at the Stem Cells and Neural Development laboratory based in the Florey institute of neuroscience. Walaa got his bachelor degree in Laboratory Medicine (2007, Umm Al-Qura University, Saudi Arabia). Walaa completed his Master degree in Laboratory Medicine in 2010 (RMIT University, Australia). Currently, Walaa is investigating the potential of stem cell based therapies in Parkinson disease under the supervision of A/Prof. Clare Parish and Dr. Lachlan Thompson.
