Some of our key scientific advances include the characterisation of genetic and epigenetic stability of human pluripotent stem cells, molecular mechanisms of cell reprogramming, efficient methodology for differentiation of human pluripotent stem cells into nerves, discovery of new stem cells in the heart, and novel pathways for regulation of blood cell formation.
To quote our Chairman Professor David de Kretser, "In a swiftly changing landscape, Stem Cells Australia places the Australian scientific community at the world's leading edge of research in this important field".
