09:00 AM - Monday 27 August, 2012

The StemCore and CRA iPS Cell workshop is aimed at giving participants both practical experience with generation, identification and analysis of iPS cells (practical component); and to provide theoretical background of the fast developing field of iPS cell research (lecture component). These comprehensive training workshops provide hands-on, laboratory-based training accompanied by a series of lectures from Australia’s leading stem cell scientists.  The workshops deal with derivation of induced pluripotent stem cell lines (iPSC) and their subsequent passaging, manipulation, daily maintenance and characterisation.
